Liuzhou Steel sees its net profit rise by 135 percent in 2010

On January 28, Guangxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Liuzhou Iron and Steel announced a net profit of RMB 634 million ($96 million) for 2010, up 134.52 percent year on year, with earnings per share of RMB 0.2473 ($0.038) for the year. In 2009, Liuzhou Iron and Steel had recorded a net profit of RMB 270 million ($41 million).
