Libyan Iron & Steel Company (LISCO), the largest steel producer in Libya, has continued export shipments of its products, though the overall business conditions remain rather challenging for the company.

Today, January 13, LISCO has started loading another rebar cargo to Lebanon. The 5,000 mt lot was purchased a couple of months back, according to sources familiar with the situation. This is the second rebar cargo sold from Libya to Lebanon. The first one, again for 5,000 mt, was shipped on July 30, 2019, as SteelOrbis reported earlier.
