LianYuan Steel ups HR and CR prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On December 16, 2006, Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel adjusted the ex-factory prices of a number of its products, with immediate effect. The ex-factory price of HR increased RMB 20/mt ($3/mt). After this adjustment, the new price of Q235 grade 2.75 mm thick HRC is RMB 4,030/mt ($516/mt), while that of Q235 grade 5.5 mm thick HRC is RMB 3,830/mt ($490/mt). The ex-factory price of CR sees an increase of RMB 30/mt ($4/mt). After the adjustment, the new price of SPCC grade 1.0 mm thick CRC is now at RMB 4,620/mt ($592/mt). Meanwhile, the ex-factory price of HDG has remained unchanged, with the price of ST012 grade 1.0 mm thick HDG staying at RMB 5,350/mt ($685/mt). Finally, the ex-factory price for rebar also remains unchanged, with the price of HRB335 grade 16-25 mm diameter rebar still at RMB 3,300/mt ($423/mt). The above prices all include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of December 16, 2006.
