Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Lianyuan Iron and Steel Co. (Lianyuan Steel), a subsidiary of Hunan Valin Iron and Steel Group, has announced that it has successfully developed DC06 deep drawing cold rolled (CR) sheet for use in automobile production.
As stated by Lianyuan Steel, after punching tests on 1,320 samples of the product in question, only three percent showed cracks. Accordingly, Lianyuan Steel can now supply its DC06 deep drawing cold rolled sheet to auto manufacturers.
