Leeco Steel, a Lisle, Illinois-based supplier of carbon, HSLA, heat-treated and alloy plate steel, announced last week that it has opened a facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  This is Leeco Steel’s first location in Oklahoma, 12th overall, and will be home to a sales and distribution center.

“We are expanding our reach in a region we currently serve in an effort to provide enhanced service, increased commercial coverage, and stronger customer connection,” said Denton J. Nordhues, President and CEO of Leeco Steel.  “Tulsa is the next logical step in our strategic vision for Leeco Steel.”

The facility is located inside the Tulsa Port of Catoosa Industrial Park with space for future expansion. The building is equipped for efficient distribution with drive-through bays and accessibility to barge and rail shipments from local trans-loaders located with the Port of Catoosa. The distribution center will be stocked with steel plate and fully operational in July 2015.
