Kuzbassrazrezugol sees 73.4 percent rise in January-August coking coal output

Russian coal mining company Kuzbassrazrezugol has issued its operational results for the first eight months of 2010.

Accordingly, in January-August Kuzbassrazrezugol produced 31.747 million mt of coal - up 5.46 percent year on year, including 2.9 million mt of coking coal - up 73.4 percent year on year.
In August this year, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal production went down by 0.6 percent to 4.143 million mt, including 385,000 mt of coking coal - down 1.3 percent, both compared to July.

Meanwhile, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal deliveries in the first eight months of this year amounted to about 29.763 million mt - up 0.7 percent, including 2.361 million mt of coking coal - up 25.7 percent, while its exports of coal amounted to 16.17 million mt - down 6.4 percent, all compared to the same period last year.
