KPMG considers selling Sheerness assets of ASW

A sales possibility for the remaining Sheerness assets of the Cardiff based specialist steelmaker ASW Holdings has appeared according to latest reports. The receivers KPMG stated that it is in expectations of recommencing operations at Sheernes in a short while, upon receipt of interest from an undisclosed potential buyer. ASW Holdings went under receivership on July 10, 2002.
