Iranian steelmaker Khouzestan Oxin Steel plans to produce 600,000 mt of plate in the next Iranian year, Mr. Fathollah Tayebi, managing director of the steel producer, has stated recently.
He also pointed out that Khouzestan Oxin Steel produced about 280,000 mt of steel plate
in the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2010), which is about 20 percent more than Khouzestan Oxin Steel's approved production plan.
Khouzestan Oxin Steel, which was put into operation in early 2010, has a nominal rolling capacity of 1.05 million mt per year.
