Indian steelmaker Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) has supplied India’s longest rails measuring 260 meters to India’s state-run Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL). The 260 meter-long rails will be used for construction of the eastern corridor of the landmark 350 kilometer dedicated freight railway network in India. The total order is for 90,175 mt of rails.
The company had shipped 1,880 mt of rails of 87 meters in length to DFCCIL in August this year.
