JSW Steel launches JSW TMT Plus bars

Indian steelmaker JSW Steel on April 23 launched JSW TMT Plus bars at a grand function in Jaipur, capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan.

A company press release said that JSW Steel is one of the first Indian primary steel producers using state-of-the-art MORGAN Technology to produce TMT bars, ensuring a much better ductility than Fe 500D. The company ensures controlled sulphur and phosphorous content of 0.005-0.035 percent each and extreme low tramp elements.

JSW TMT Plus bars have high strength, high durability, ability to absorb shocks and high resistance to earthquakes. JSW TMT Plus bars are also fatigue resistant and perform excellently in cyclic loading situations, the company said.
