Over the past week, Turkish official domestic merchant bar prices have remained unchanged on Turkish lira basis, with only minor changes on US dollar basis. In addition, one Iskenderun-based mill has kept its equal angle price at TRY 19,500-19,810/mt ($606-616/mt) ex-works.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for April delivery or from stocks. A few re-rollers are also offering their HEA/HEB (550-700 mm, standard) at TRY 26,750/mt ($832/mt), for delivery to the Karabuk region.
Demand is silent ahead of the Eid holiday.
