On July 21, Gansu Province-based Jiuquan Steel Lanzhou Company announced its ex-factory prices for flat products. The details are as follows;
- 1. HR: the price of HR has not changed, and so Q235 3.5 mm x 1,500 mm x C is still at RMB 5,860/mt ($859/mt).
- 2. Medium plate: the price of medium plate has decreased RMB 50/mt ($7/mt) and thus the new price of Q235 14-24 mm x 2,000 mm material is RMB 6,600/mt ($968/mt). Meanwhile, the producer's price of low alloy plate is RMB 250/mt ($37/mt) higher than its common carbon plate price.
The above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective as of July 21.
