On August 12, Shandong Province-based Jinan Steel has announced its medium plate ex-factory prices.
The price of Q235 16-25 mm is at RMB 6,640/mt ($968/mt) from the producer's medium plate factory, while the product of the same specification from the mill's heavy plate factory is at RMB 6,990/mt ($1,019/mt). Meanwhile, the cost of low alloy plate is obtained by adding RMB 330/mt to the base medium plate price.
