Officials at Jilin Province, China-based Jilong Steel Tube Limited Company have stated that the company's new steel tube project, which was put into production in May this year, is expected to produce 200,000 mt of steel tube per year.
Jilong Steel Tube is a subsidiary of Heilongjiang Province-based Chinese company Harbin Heping Metal Material Limited Company. Harbin Heping Metal Material owns several subsidiary companies in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Changchun and other locations. It handles more than 200 kinds of metal products and its annual sales revenues amount to RMB 500 million ($76.9 million).
Harbin Heping Metal Material acquired Jilong Steel Tube in the summer of 2008.
