JFE to hike galvanized steel prices by Yen 10,000

Japanese steelmaker JFE Steel announced that it would increase the sales prices of galvanized steel products due to rising zinc costs. The firm has already started negotiations with certain customers. JFE plans to hike its prices by up to Yen 10,000/ton ($87/ton) depending on the user. JFE will also hike its export price by more than $100/ton for all its steel products for July-September shipment.
