ITC institutes reviews for AD duties on certain pipe-fittings

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) announced today that it would launch five-year reviews (sunset reviews) to ascertain whether revocation of the antidumping duty orders on stainless steel butt-weld pipe fitting imported from Japan, Korea and Taiwan would adversely affect the US steel industry. Interested parties may submit their responses by March 23, 2005, at the latest. Since the notice regarding the review's initiation was published today in the Federal Register, the review is effective as of February 2, 2005.
