ITC decision on AD, CVD orders on CTL plate from 6 countries

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) yesterday determined that revocation of the existing countervailing duty orders on cut-to-length carbon steel plates imported from India, Indonesia, Italy and South Korea; and the existing antidumping duty orders on the same product imported from India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan and South Korea would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US market. On the other hand, the ITC determined that revocation of the existing antidumping duty order on imports of same product from France would not likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US market. As a result of both the ITC's decision and the Department of Commerce's (DOC) affirmative findings, the existing orders on cut-to-length carbon steel plate imported from India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan and South Korea will remain in effect. However, the existing duty order on imports from France will be revoked.
