Ispat to establish pellet plant in Orissa

According to recent news in the market, Indian steel producer Ispat Industries is planning to build a pellet plant in Orissa. The planned pellet plant will have an annual production capacity of 4 million tons. However, the details of the project have not been revealed yet. The company officials announced that they applied to the Orissa government for mining leases. Ispat plans to start the project, after the leases are given to the company. Although the amount of investment for the project has not been disclosed, analysts estimate that it will amount to Rupees 15 billion ($327 million).
