Iran’s Vian Steel planning to establish new long steel rolling plant

Iranian steelmaker Vian Steel is negotiating with some foreign plantmakers regarding the establishment of a rolling mill of 300,000 mt annual capacity for the production of long steel products, according to reports. Vian Steel, which is the largest Iranian privately-owned steelmaker, has a capacity of 550,000 mt per year of billet. Vian Steel, which was inaugurated in early 2010, is located in the western Iranian province of Hamedan.
