Iran imported 611,00 mt of rebar and 561,000 mt of plain bars (round, hexagonal, square, etc.) in the last Iranian year (ended March 20), representing respective year-on-year declines of 46 percent and two percent, according to the newly published figures from the Iranian customs authorities.
Iran had imported 895,000 mt of rebar and 572,000 mt of plain bars in the previous Iranian year, according to the same source.
