Iran’s Azarbaijan Steel sees stable long steel output

Iranian steelmaker Azarbaijan Steel produced 333,000 mt of long steel (mostly rebar) in the first eight months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), unchanged compared to the corresponding period of the last Iranian year, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

Azarbaijan Steel is a long steel rolling mill with an annual output capacity of 550,000 mt. It is currently building a new mini-mill which will have an annual output capacity of 800,000 mt of billet.
