Iran ups steel exports

Steel production units of Iran's Mines Development and Renovation Organization disclosed that 870,581 tons of steel worth $353.5 million were exported over the first four month of the current financial year. A report released by the organization indicates that a 28 percent and 13 percent increase is observed respectively compared to the same period of last year. The specified amount of steel has been exported by various steel companies including Mobarakeh Steel Co., Isfahan Steel Co., Khuzestan Steel, Iran's National Industrial Steel Group, Kayvan Steel, Khorasan Steel and Azarbaijan Steel.
