Iran Alloy Steel Co. targets capacity increase

Iran Alloy Steel Co. is to increase its production capacity to 450,000 mt per year through the first phase of its development plan and to one million mt per year through the plan’s second phase, Iran's Minister of Industries and Mines Ali-Akbar Mehrabian has said. Based in the central Iranian city of Yazd city, Iran Alloy Steel Co. is the sole domestic producer of alloy steel in Iran. It produced about 200,000 mt of alloy steel in the last Iranian year (20.03.2007-19.03.2008).
