INSIG’s long steel output rises by 9 percent

Iranian steelmaker Iran National Steel Industrial Group (INSIG) produced 708,000 mt of long steel products (I-beam, rebar, tube) in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), representing an increase of 9 percent compared to the same period of the last Iranian year, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

INSIG produced 164,000 mt of steel billet in the first seven months of the current Iranian year, increasing 18 percent on year on year basis.
