Industrial capacity utilization in China at 76.4 percent in Q2

In the second quarter of the current year, industrial capacity utilization in China was at 76.4 percent, down 0.4 percentage points year on year, accordingly to the National Bureau of Statistics.

In particular, in the second quarter this year the respective capacity utilization rates of the mining industry, the coal mining and dressing industry, the manufacturing industry and the automobile industry in China were at 74.6 percent, 70.7 percent, 76.9 percent and 76.2 percent, up 1.3, down 2.2, down 0.3 and down 5.2 percentage points, respectively, while the capacity utilization rate of the ferrous metal smelting, rolling and processing industry was at 80.9 percent, up 2.4 percentage points, year on year.
