India’s SSWL registers decline in November sales

The Indian steel rim producer Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has announced that it registered net sales of INR 736 million ($13.6 million) in November this year, down 6.08 percent compared to the corresponding month of 2011.
 
In terms of units sold, in November SSWL sold 777,000 steel wheel rims, decreasing by 4.77 percent compared to 816,000 wheel rims sold in the same month of the previous year, while the company's wheel rim exports increased to 99,392, up 30.68 percent year on year.
