India’s MSTC plans three auto scrapping centers through JV

Indian state-run, MSTC Limited (formerly Metal Scrap Trading Corporation Limited ), will set up three more vehicle scrapping centers, company source said on Thursday, December 20.

He said that the three vehicle scrapping centers will be located at Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai.

These three centers will be set up in collaboration with Mahindra group along the lines of its existing scrapping center already operating at Noida by the joint venture partners through MSTC Recycling Private Limited, he added.

He said that another auto scrapping plant under construction at Dahej in western India is expected to be ready for operation by June 2019.
