India’s JSPL sees 14% decline in net profit in Q1 FY 2023-24

India’s Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) has reported a consolidated net profit of INR 16.86 billion ($203.70 million) in the first quarter (April-June) of the fiscal year 2023-24, registering a decline of 14.4 percent year on year, according to a regulatory filing of the company on Friday, August 11.

The company reported a consolidated revenue of INR 125.88 billion ($1.52 billion), a rise of 3.5 percent year on year.
