India’s Jindal SAW Limited sees net profit surge in Q1 FY 2023-24

Indian steel pipes, tubes and iron ore pellet producer Jindal SAW Limited reported a consolidated net profit of INR 2.63 billion ($31.70 million) in the first quarter (April-June) of the fiscal year 2023-24, surging from INR 48.50 million ($0.58 million) in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, according to a regulatory filing of the company on Thursday, August 17.

The company reported total sales revenues of INR 44.1 billion ($531.32 million) for the given period, up 26.79 percent over the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
