India’s coking coal imports down 32 percent in April-July

India’s coking coal import traffic through all major ports totaled 1.351 million mt in the April-July period this year, down 32.26 percent year on year, according to data sourced from the Indian Ports Association (IPA).

According to the IPA data, iron ore freight traffic, including lumps, fines and pellets, through all the major ports in the given period was recorded at 2.169 million mt, up 24.27 percent year on year.
