Hot tests completed at Benxi Steel’s reconstructed converter No. 3

A project for the reconstruction of old converters of Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Steel Group is currently being carried out by Beijing Central Engineering and Research Incorporation of Iron and Steel Industry (CERIS).
 
Accordingly, hot tests at the reconstructed converter No. 3 at Benxi Steel have been successfully completed. These tests have been completed a full three months ahead of schedule
