Hebei Steel Group obtains mining license for southern Sijiaying iron mine

On November 3, Hebei Iron and Steel Mining Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of leading Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group, officially received the mining license for the development of the southern district of the Sijiaying iron mine located in Luanxian, Hebei Province. Proven iron ore reserves of the mining district in question amount to 1.706 billion mt, with an average iron grade of 30.82 percent.
