HBIS posts 39.06 percent rise in net profit for Q1 2026

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker HBIS Company Limited has issued its financial report for 2025, stating that its operating revenue amounted to RMB 118.137 billion ($17.2 billion) in the given year, down 2.86 percent year on year, while it recorded a net profit of RMB 1.002 million ($0.15 billion), up 41.64 percent year on year.

HBIS Company Limited also announced that in the first three months this year it registered an operating revenue of RMB 31.3 billion ($4.6 billion), down 3.81 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 323 million ($47.1 million), up 39.06 percent year on year.

In 2025, HBIS Company produced 31.44 million mt of pig iron, 29.79 million mt of crude steel and 28.09 million mt of finished steel, up 6.14 percent, 6.66 percent and 6.32 percent year on year, respectively.

As for 2026, the company plans to produce 31.95 million mt of pig iron, 30.80 million mt of crude steel and 29.10 million mt of finished steel.
