Chinese steel producer Handan Iron and Steel Company (Handan Steel), a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that it has received an order from Italy for 330 mt of high-strength HX220YD+Z grade hot dip galvanized (HDG) steel sheet for use in automobile manufacture.
This is the first order Handan Steel has received from Italy for the product in question, which has an excellent punching performance. The company carried out successful trial rolling of HX220YD+Z grade hot dip galvanized (HDG) steel sheet in November 2011.
