Handan Steel issues CR & HR prices for Jan 2007

SteelOrbis Shanghai On December 26, 2006, Henan Province-based Handan Steel released the January 2007 ex-factory prices for its CR and HR products. The ex-factory price of <0.6 mm thick CRC increased RMB 20/mt ($3/mt), while that of >0.6 mm thick CRC increased RMB70/mt ($9/mt). After this latest adjustment, the new price of 0.5 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 4,930/mt ($632/mt), while that of 1.0 mm thick SPCC grade CRC is RMB 4,570/mt ($586/mt). Meanwhile, the ex-factory price of HR remained unchanged. The new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HR is RMB 3,990/mt ($512/mt), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HR is RMB 3,800/mt ($487/mt) All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of December 26, 2006.
