German wholesale metal prices down 0.5 percent in Apr from Mar

As reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in April this year the wholesale selling prices of industrial products in Germany were down 1.3 percent compared to April 2013, following the 1.7 percent year-on-year price decrease recorded in March. Meanwhile, the wholesale price index rose by 0.2 percent in April this year compared to March. 

In April of the current year, wholesale prices of ores, metals and metal ores in Germany declined by 5.2 percent compared to the same month of 2013 and indicated a decrease of 0.5 percent compared to March.
