German iron ore import prices up slightly in July from June levels

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in July this year the import price of iron ore increased by 16 percent year on year in Germany, while it increased slightly by 0.1 percent as compared to June this year. In July this year, the import price of pig iron, steel and ferroalloys in Germany rose by 4.6 percent year on year, while it decreased by 1.6 percent compared to June.
