German iron ore import prices down 1.7 percent in Oct from Sept

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in October this year the import price of iron ore increased by 16 percent year on year in Germany, while it decreased by 1.7 percent as compared to September this year. In October this year, the average import price of pig iron, steel and ferroalloys in Germany rose by 1.2 percent year on year, while it decreased by 1.9 percent compared to September this year.
