German iron ore import prices down 11 percent in March

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in March of the current year the import price of iron ore in Germany decreased by 11 percent year on year and was down seven percent month on month.

In March, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany decreased by 5.8 percent year on year and remained unchanged compared to February.

Meanwhile, in March this year, the import price of nickel fell by 13.7 percent year on year and was up by 6.7 percent month on month.
