Gerdau Corsa to hold construction symposium

Mexican long steel producer Gerdau Corsa, through its technical area and in collaboration with the Mexican Institute of Steel Construction (IMCA), will participate in the "XIII Symposium on Steel Structures" on March 4-7, 2015 at the Hotel Stadia Suites Santa Fe, Mexico city.

In a statement, Gerdau Corsa said that the purpose of the symposium is to train professionals and civil construction industry engineers, architects, planners, academics, structural designers, and general public.

The topics presented at the Symposium will include the use of steel in short span bridges and metal pilings supports.
