Fire breaks out at sinter mill at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih

On May 13, a fire broke out at the sinter mill No. 3 of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal. As a result of a fire safety breach during scheduled work, a conveyor belt caught fire during loading operations.

The area affected by the fire was about 100 square meters, with 120 meters of the conveyor belt damaged by the fire.

No employees were injured. Work was not suspended, as the incident did not affect the production process.
