Finished steel inventory in China decreases during December

As of December 28 this year, overall domestic inventories of the five main finished steel products in China totaled 7.53 million mt, down 335,000 mt or 4.3 percent month on month, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
 
In particular, as of the given date, domestic inventories of hot rolled coil (HRC), cold rolled coil (CRC), common medium plate, wire rod and rebar amounted to 1.29 million mt, 1.22 million mt, 960,000 mt, 830,000 mt and 3.245 million mt, respectively decreasing by 7.6 percent, 8.5 percent, 5.0 percent, 6.8 percent and 0.2 percent month on month.
