"US-China ties will help both countries foster the economy and sustain global commerce," a major American business executive has commented.

As reported by official Chinese news agency Xinhua, Luis E. Fiallo, managing director for marketing and corporate development at China Telecom Americas, said that it is a unique time in the two countries' bilateral commercial relations. "There has never been so much more inter-coupling as there is now between the US and China. As we all can see, China as an emerging global market place is leading many of the recoveries in the world," said Mr. Fiallo. "The US has incurred a lot of debts, and its partnership with China will be able to help both countries to foster economy."

Calling on his country to cooperate with China not only in areas of consumer consumption and investment, but also in innovation and new technology, the executive said, "For example, China's green technology is fascinating and unbelievable."

A seasoned executive who helped China Telecom expand in the US market, Fiallo suggested that Chinese companies interested in the US market should have detailed plans and expectations of what they can achieve in the US.
