On July 22, Jiangsu Province-based Feida Steel announced its ex-factory prices for medium plate. The details are as follows;
The prices of common carbon plate have not changed. As a result, the price of Q235 8 mm is still at RMB 6,800/mt ($999/mt), 10 mm still costs RMB 6,490/mt ($953/mt), 12 mm costs RMB 6,370/mt ($935/mt), 14 mm is at RMB 6,280/mt ($922/mt), 16-20 mm is at RMB 6,270/mt ($921/mt), while 28-36 mm is at RMB 6,450/mt ($947/mt).
Meanwhile, the producer's price of low alloy plate has been hiked by RMB 50/mt($7), and so the low alloy plate price is now RMB 360/mt ($53/mt) higher than the common carbon plate price.
The above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective as of July 22.
