FAI in China’s railways totals RMB 433 billion in Jan-July 2025, up 5.6%

China Railway Corporation (CRC) has announced that the total fixed asset investments (FAI) in China’s railways in the January-July period this year amounted to RMB 433 billion ($61 billion), up 5.6 percent year on year.

In July, 452 million mt of freight was transported by China’s railways, rising by 4.5 percent year on year. In particular, 235 million mt of coal was transported by Chinese railways.
