FAI in China increases by 4.7 percent in January-April

In the January-April period this year, total fixed asset investments (FAI) (excluding rural households) in China amounted to RMB 14.7482 trillion ($2.1 trillion), up 4.7 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). In April alone, FAI in China decreased by 0.64 percent month on month.

In the given period, total FAI in China's infrastructure rose by 8.5 percent year on year. 

Investments in China's mining sector and manufacturing sector in the given year decreased by 2.2 percent and increased by 6.4 percent year on year, respectively.
