Evraz to sell Vitkovice plates in Russian market
Russian steelmaker Evraz Group announced plans to sell steel plates produced by Czech steelmaker Vitkovice Steel in the Russian market.
Vitkovice Steel, who has recently been acquired by Evraz Group, has an annual
plate production capacity of 700,000 tons.
Evraz Group also announced plans to increase the annual
production capacity of Vikovice Steel.
Vitkovice Steel officials indicated that through the arrival of the new owner, the company will able to expand its customer base.
