Evraz agrees to divest its iron ore mining plant Evraz Sukha Balka

Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group has announced that it has signed an agreement to divest its Evraz Sukha Balka iron ore mining and beneficiation plant in Ukraine to Ukraine-based Berklemond Investments for a consideration of $110 million.
 
Evraz Sukha Balka has been a subsidiary of Evraz since 2007 and currently employs over 3,400 people. The plant’s annual iron ore production capacity is approximately 3.1 million mt, while in 2016 it generated $145 million of revenue from continuing operations.
