Essar Steel to set up new steel fabrication unit

Indian steelmaker Essar Steel has announced that it will set up a steel fabrication unit in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The new unit will supply high-tensile steel to Jabalpur Ordnance Factory.
 
Essar Steel said that it has invested INR 400 million ($6.4 million) in the state of Madhya Pradesh, adding that there was a need for improvement of infrastructure in the state which has the advantage of being strategically located and can easily reach out to markets in neighboring states.
