Emirates Steel Arkan collaborates with DNV on climate targets

Norway-based certification, assurance, and risk management provider DNV has announced that it has signed a Decarbonization Strategic Collaboration Agreement with United Arab Emirates-based steel producer Emirates Steel Arkan (ESA) as part of a five-year collaboration.

The parties aim to advance sustainability and achieve net-zero emissions in line with the UAE’s target to become climate neutral by 2050.

As part of this collaboration, DNV will provide expertise to ESA in the areas of steel decarbonization and energy transition.
